Your Opportunity: The Ligature is seeking a Production Assembly and Support team member to join us.
Your Responsibilities:
- Train on one of the following machines: Polar Cutter, MBO Folder, Bluecrest Inserter or Collators to otherwise finish the product according to job ticket instructions
- Complete tasks, as directed by production schedules, to ensure timely delivery of products to customers
- Pack finished product into correct packages and boxes, along with attach appropriate labels and tags to product or boxes
- Examine finished product for quality assurance; report defective materials or questionable quality issues to Supervisor or Team Lead
- Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machines, as required, to reduce problems, maintain quality, and minimize costly repairs and downtime
- Maintain work area, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly manner
- Follow standard work methods and prescribed safety practices to ensure production is as efficient and safe, as possible
Your Shift:
- 1st Shift 7:00am - 3:30pm
You Must Have:
- Strong mechanical aptitude; ability to resolve technical issue and/or provide recommendations Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals, and other forms of simple mathematical skills
- Ability to read and interpret simple instructions, short correspondence, and job tickets, along with follow directions
- Ability to use basic hand held tools including rubber straps, plastic bags, plastic packaging clamshells, cardboard boxes, tape dispensers, and other materials necessary to the production and packaging of products
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work well independently and with a team
Requirements within this position:
- Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.
- Regularly required to remain in a stationary position.
- Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials.
- Frequently required to move inside the facility.
- Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry).
We Would Also Prefer:
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED) or work-related experience
- Knowledge of common printing practices and/or equipment
The anticipated hourly salary range for this position is $18.00 per hour. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
