Your day at Ferring
As Primary Packaging SME, you will become part of a global team of 35 skilled and engaged scientists and experts from different domains. Together we support the entire manufacturing network, and your overall focus is to work closely with your MTS colleagues on strategy on Primary packaging definition, change, improvements as per need – both as an initiator of projects and SME point of contact for existing ones. You will play a pivotal role in coordinating and engaging all relevant stakeholders, both inside the MTS organisation as well as colleagues across the global organisation.
- Support manufacturing sites for packaging related topics
- Support the Center of Expertise Primary Packaging Network in close collaboration with Ferring’s Global Manufacturing Network
- Propose adjustments for existing primary packaging strategies
- Plan, manage and execute technical tasks related to design for manufacturing, verification, tech transfer, implementation, maintenance and stability testing
- Lead own projects and intiatives
- Effectively communicate and ensure accurate internal and external stakeholder management.
Your new workplace is our spectacular and state-of-the-art new domicile located next to “Den Blå Planet”, near Copenhagen Airport. However, as we collaborate internationally, you will get a great deal of flexibility in managing your workday – including the option of working from home up to 2 days a week. Travel activity should be expected, upwards of 25% on average, primarily in the EU.

We expect the ideal candidate to have below qualifications:
- Minimum Master’s Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry or Pharmacy
- +5 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry
- Key knowledge and experience within primary packaging for pharmaceuticals (primary sterile)
- Ability to coordinate, to prioritize assignments and resolve conflicting initiatives
- Ability to drive cross-functional and global project teams to achieve a desired objective
- Ability to apply structure and consistency in order to ensure compliance and harmonize across sites and projects
- Good working knowledge of manufacturing, GMP and FDA requirements
- Excellent communication (both written/verbal) and listening skills in English.
- Influencing and negotiation skills using evidence (facts and figures) to justify arguments
- Ability to represent the business to the customer/external stakeholders
